Energy Efficiency
Here at Panks we work hard to keep up-to-date with developments in both technology and governmental recommendations or legislation regarding energy efficiency. As a full Anglian Water MEICA partner, (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Controls and Automation) in industrial equipment systems, we fully understand the need to reduce your carbon footprint and meet health and safety requirements in line with the Environmental Agency guidelines.
Our dedicated in-house Energy Engineer can assess the performance of your existing systems or plans and will work with you to find the best solutions for improvement. We can overhaul or upgrade all mechanical, electrical or water related components to ensure energy efficiency gains are made. Our drive is to find the best practice for your systems and we will work with you to achieve that goal.
Investing in newer and better motor technology can prove beneficial for both the environment and government institutions across Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.

Our flexible service and health checks ensure your systems are working efficiently and don’t let you down.
Share your duty of care with our accredited NICEIC and Gas Safe engineers, who you can trust to conduct rigorous tests of your equipment in line with current legislation. If you have a concern or query, do not hesitate to get in touch and we will do our best to help you.

Solar Energy
For the latest in solar power systems for water heating or generating electricity, we can supply and install the current technology. For greater control over the quality and quantity of water you use and an environmentally friendly and economic solution, consider a private water supply.
A groundwater abstraction system, or borehole, can provide you with greater freedom to use water how you choose, whenever you choose, without the concern of rising costs or hosepipe bans. Up to 20,000 litres of groundwater per day can be used – free of charge.
Panks has the local knowledge and experience and of installing borehole water supplies across Norfolk and Suffolk for many years and will drill the borehole and install the entire package in-house. We can supply groundwater to your systems at whatever pressure you require.
After passing through a filtration system groundwater can be utilised for washing, flushing or irrigating or, if used in conjunction with one of our water treatment plants, it can be supplied direct to your taps as potable, or wholesome water.
We will work direct with you to assess your site specifications and determine the best solutions. Or we will work with pre-determined specifications provided by outside agencies. We listen and are flexible to your needs. Our prices are competitive, and most importantly, our work is quality.
As a planned maintenance contractor for Anglia Water we know our way round the majority of mains sewers in the eastern region. If a mains sewer is not an option and cannot provide the answer to your waste water and effluent disposal – one of our packaged pumping stations can.
For an environmentally friendly – and free – source of water, we can collect surface and rainwater from your roofs and guttering, filter it and store it underground holding tanks. Then it can be pumped it into your systems for washing, flushing and irrigation, at whatever pressure you require. Again, we can assess, size, specify, supply and install the entire package.
A further benefit of rainwater is it provides a softer, chemical free alternative to mains water and is therefore kinder to your plants and systems.
Our experienced engineers offer expert advice on the best water pressure boosting options, no matter what the building or situation.
At Panks we supply and install pressure boosting pumps and systems across Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. But we also listen. Then we will do the water pressure calculations – and find the most efficient and effective solution.
