Panks repair team take on the full range of domestic and industrial pumps, submersible and surface mounted. We look at the complete pump and its associated electrics, air handling units and drive systems.
Our specialist engineers will look at any pump or associated equipment and any brand. If it makes good financial sense for you we aim to offer you a repair. If that’s not possible we will recommend a direct replacement or suitable alternative.
We always maintain a dialogue with you, our customer, and provide quotes before carrying out any necessary repair work.
Initial Pump Repair Assessment
You can either bring in your problem pump, or call our Service Office to report the fault and to arrange for a site visit from us.
Our engineers will do an initial on-site assessment and if possible carry out the repair on the spot. Alternatively, they will bring the faulty pump into our workshop for a repair or replacement assessment.
24 Hour Emergency Repairs
If you have an emergency outside of our office hours, it’s not a problem. You can contact the out-of-hours emergency team at any time of night. Our engineers can offer an initial assessment over the telephone to see if you require an on-site visit. We will then visit your site in the shortest time possible and aim to resolve the problem as quickly as we can.
Other Repair Work We Undertake
We have the skill set and equipment to carry out repairs to all manners of equipment ranging from bridge
rotors and industrial gear boxes down to manufacturing lifting tripods and lifting gantries. We have a fully functioning machine shop where our skilled machinists operate the centre lathes and milling machines, enabling us to perform repairs to various component parts belonging to pumps, gear boxes and motors.
We also have a fabrication bay where we can offer a welding, gas-cutting, and a pipe cutting and threading service. We have the skill set to make brackets, manifolds, stands and all manners of pipework.

Just like you we expect extremely high standards from our products and we are not satisfied with less than excellent results after our repair. We offer a three month warranty on our replacement parts and on any repair work undertaken.
The Pump Repair Workshop
In the workshop, experienced and skilled engineers firstly offer an assessment of the pump and if it is economically viable the pump will be repaired. From pond pumps to domestic water pumps, to sewage pumps and specific process pumps, fan and blowers, or pumps for groundwater abstraction – we will strip down, diagnose the failure – and offer you the most cost effective solution to correct the fault.
If the cost of fixing the pump outweighs its cost effectiveness, our experienced and skilled engineers will recommend and provide the best alternative or replacement.
We have installed in our workshop a 3 tonne overhead crane that runs the complete length of the workshop which allows us the scope to work on bigger projects. For larger projects we offer you a stage by stage pump assessment report, which includes our recommendations for the action required.
Our Clean Room
For food process pumps, shower pumps, swimming pool pumps and potable water pumps all work is undertaken in our purpose built workshop. The pumps are stripped down, repaired and tested separately in our hygienic clean room.
