Quite literally you could be sitting on the answer! Our specialist engineers use hydro-geological maps to identify the best spot on your property to drill a borehole from 10 metres to 90 metres below ground to access an aquifer.
A borehole fitted with specialist borepumps, can provide you with up to 20,000 litres or 20m3* per day of wholesome groundwater completely free of charge. Working in conjunction with a water treatment plant, if required, Panks can supply the water to your systems for flushing, washing or irrigating – or direct to your taps as potable water, and all at whatever pressure you require.
At Panks we offer a range of water treatment options for a variety of purposes.
For example a water treatment plant can purify groundwater for drinking; or filter groundwater or stored rainwater for reuse around your site as non-potable water, supplying systems for washing and flushing. We can also install a water treatment plant to improve the aesthetics of your pond or water features, reducing algae and clarifying the water through UV sterilisation, whilst also destroying any harmful bacteria. And not forgetting our packaged pumping stations for treatment of waste water and effluent.
No matter what your type of building, or the number of people using its facilities, Panks can advise, size, specify, supply and install the most suitable solutions for your waste water requirements with one of our packaged pumping stations.
We can install a gravity-fed storage chamber, fitted with an automated submersible pump and connect this to the nearest available sewer via a rising main. Or if your site cannot be linked to a mains sewer we can install an oxygenated treatment plant where bacteria break down the waste and the remaining liquid is pumped safely away to a soakaway or drain.
